Canoe Paddling at Kualoa Beach Park 6/23/14

This Monday we went to Kualoa Beach Park. While we were canoe paddling, we were supposed to count to ten and say, "Hut! Hou!" It was fun, but it made our arms tired. After we said "Hut! Hou!" we were suppose to switch sides. After paddling, we got to go sailing. This time we could just sit down and relax. We got splashed by the water and ended up getting really wet. When we were sailing we got to look outside of the canoe and see the reef and look at all the pretty coral. One of us saw a turtle. One of the leaders had to control the sail. Sometimes it is a hard job because if it is very windy, the leader has to pull the rope very tight or the sail won't catch and the canoe won't move. It was an amazing field trip.

Our favorite parts were sailing the canoe and seeing the turtle. We both had lots of fun and wish we could go back!
