Manoa Falls

Last week Wednesday we went to Manoa Falls.  We saw a lot of things. One thing we saw was a bird from Africa. We also got to see the waterfall, a toad and mushrooms. We saw different plants like ferns and mountain apples. On the way up, it was raining a lot. When we were there, we had to write a poem about Manoa Falls and draw a picture for it. On the way down we had to collect plants for our terrariums. We got back to the Punahou school, and we put cinders and soil in our jars. After, we put the plants inside our terrariums. When we went back to the classroom we got a paper to write about how much moisture was in our terrariums. We are doing the terrariums to learn about the water cycle. It was really fun except when it rained.
