Making Clay Reef

We are Muku and Keiichiro

We made clay reef for our art project. To prepare for this project, we drew the pictures of the fish we saw and liked at the aquarium. Our sketches weren't as good as we would have liked it to be since the fish at the aquarium were moving, so it was hard to draw.

First, it was difficult making those shapes of the creatures, like the Nautilus & the Tiger Shark, but as we worked, it got easier and more fun!! Our project improved,. but we still had difficulties as we went through it.

One thing I really liked about my project was the tiger shark I made; it was the biggest creature on my clay reef pot. It was hard, but it turned out great. I also made some plants and other sea creatures, like starfish and little fish. I used lot of sticks to make the shape of them.
The project was fun and we can"t wait to see what our finished product looks like when we glaze it.
