Making Gyotaku

Making Gyotaku
 By:Cable Kronen

Long ago, fish printing was invented when fishermen had to prove that they had caught a fish. Why? Well, there were no cameras long ago in Japan! So, on Tuesday we did a fish printing or "Gyotaku". We first did practice paper where we covered a fish with ink and stamped it on a piece of paper. Later, we did a real high quality print with nice paper and ink. Once we finished the real print we wrote a little Japanese on the paper.
